Description

This is Blue Note Records BST 84157, Lee Morgan Sidewinder, a blue and white, New York label, original stereo issue of this classic recording with Van Gelder and the ear (p) mark stamped in the dead wax.  The record is VG+ condition showing  marks on both sides but playing quietly throughout except for a light click at the end of the title cut and the beginning of the following track. There are no skips, no distortion of the music, and nothing to interfere with the enjoyment of the record.  The original cover, with it's 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address, has 3" clear tape on the top seams and a bit of shelf wear. The labels have no spindle marks, but a label tear on side 2 (see photo). This is an excellent initial "play"copy of this original Blue Note with all the proper markers evident. The record has been  cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders. Thanks for looking.
