Format: 12” LP

Artist: Lee Morgan (Feat. Lee Morgan, Clarence Sharpe, Horace Silver, Wilbur Ware & Philly Joe Jones)

Title: Lee Morgan Indeed!

Label: Blue Note

Number: BLP 1538

Mono/Stereo: Mono

Grade & Description (Record): Visually: G+ heavy surface damage, 4 surface marks can be felt.

Audibly: VG plays with constant faint surface noise, no skips, but there are occasional ticks and pops

Grade & Description (Cover): G- Unfortunately the bottom seam and the spine are completely split, there is a thin piece of tape on the top middle seam that is from production, that is the only piece holding the jacket together (See pictures)

This is an extraordinarily rare variant of this LP as the side 1 Label contains the 47 West 63rd • New York 23 Address; however, the Side 2 Label contains the 767 Lexington Ave NYC Label.

This LP was released in 1957, which was a transition year for the Blue Note Label, they were doing out with the Lexington Label, for the 47 W 63rd Label. There are probably significantly less copies with this label variation!

Side 2: RVG BN-LP-1538-B P (ear)

This LP Was professionally cleaned on a VPI 16.5 RCM

Grading: NM-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G+
