Rare and highly collectible original Blue Note pressing of Lee Morgan’s “Candy,” featuring a classic quartet session with Sonny Clark, Doug Watkins, and Art Taylor.
Pressing Details:
- “47 West 63rd St, NYC” labels
- Deep groove on both sides
- RVG stamped in deadwax
- Plastylite “ear” present on both sides
- Original mono pressing
Condition:
Cover: EX
Very strong overall presentation. Minor corner dings on the front and light wear on the back. No major flaws. Displays beautifully.
Vinyl: VG
Both sides have been fully play tested. Plays through without skipping or loud pops. There is consistent background noise from surface wear, typical of a well-played original Blue Note LP. Still an enjoyable and listenable copy.
