═══════════════════════════════════════════════ THE MUSIC ═══════════════════════════════════════════════ A scarce and highly sought 1500-series Blue Note — Lee Morgan's only quartet date, fronting a horn-out trio of SONNY CLARK (piano), Doug Watkins (bass), and Art Taylor (drums). Six tracks including "Candy," "Since I Fell For You," Jimmy Heath's "C.T.A.," "All The Way," "Who Do You Love I Hope," and "Personality."
═══════════════════════════════════════════════ CONDITION ═══════════════════════════════════════════════ VINYL: visually VG++, plays strong VG+ Glossy, reflective surfaces, no deep scratches. HONEST DISCLOSURE: a few clicks on Track 1 each side ("Candy" / "All The Way") and light occasional distortion on Side 2, Track 2; plays clean throughout otherwise with rich Van Gelder fidelity. A strong original play copy.
JACKET: VG++ Bright, clean, glossy laminated front with sharp graphics. The only flaw is a store price sticker at the upper right (pictured). Light back soiling/age-tanning and minor edge wear. No seam splits, no writing.
