Description
Lee Konitz “In Harvard Square” MINT RARE 1954 DG MONO JAZZ 10” STORYVILLE LP 323
Artist: Lee Konitz Title: In Harvard Sqaure Label: Storyville (LP 323) Year: 1954 Condition: Vinyl - M-- Cover - VG++ / M--
Description: Absolutely stunning original first issue on Storyville from 1954. This is as clean a copy as you’ll find - the vinyl is M—, no scuffs at all, and plays and sounds FLAWLESS with clean labels (save for that small pale faded mark around the “Foggy Day” title on the B-side). The thick cardboard glossy front jacket is PRISTINE, deep rich colors with no fading on front and sharp corners + tight seams - graded as VG++ / M-- just to emphasize how clean / strong it is — often times with these Storyville or Bethlehe LPs of this era the lamintate starts to wear on the edges of the jacket, but this remains perfect. The rear shows VERY minimal age / wear - just minor signs of ringing around the top and a tiny sticker mark on the left above Lee's picture. Top, top, top copy. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

BIDDERS - PLEASE READ THE BELOW
I grade my LPs VERY conservatively and accurately under a bright light. A description of the grading scale is below:
M: MINT - perfect. vinyl is pristine / cover is flawless and/or sealed
M- : just under mint. a very, very slight amount of wear on the cover or inaudible wear on the vinyl (surface wear from age, generally) but is otherwise flawless
VG+: vinyl / cover shows signs minor signs age or wear that are more or less undistinct / inaudible.
VG: vinyl / cover shows some visible wear / age but is overall in very good shape. pops and clicks may be ever so slightly noticeable, but don't effect play or overall listening experience.
VG-: vinyl / cover shows some relatively apparent age but is in overall good shape and still a fine copy to own / play.
G+: vinyl shows some heavy wear but overall sounds decent. cover has some flaws or shows much age
G: vinyl is in pretty rough shape visibly but plays ok. cover shows a lot of age or has some major splits or tears.
G-: vinyl looks / sounds pretty rough. cover has major condition issues such as water damage, large rips, etc
*a double "+" or "-" indicates that the condition is just above or below the neighboring grade
