TRACKLISTING: More Information

This was the second studio album released on the 22nd October 1969. The first issue label features The Lemon Song title but following a claim of plagiarism levelled at Led Zeppelin [shock horror!] this song had to be renamed to Killing Floor and also credited to Chester Burnett. The Polydor press sleeves are a lighter brown in colour. The sleeve also credits The Lemon Song and this was not changed for later issues.

The labels still list Copyright Control publishing credits and have Produced by Jimmy Page under the titles.
This second issue has corrected the Livin Lovin Wreck error of the first issue and now reads Livin Lovin Maid (Shes A Woman) which is still wrong and was further corrected with the third Polydor imprint.
Thank You is still one word which was also corrected with the third imprint.
The Side Two composer credits for Heartbreaker & Moby Dick still list Jones rather than Baldwin.
This second issue now has stamped rather than scratched matrices.

Condition
The sleeves for the early issues are known for being easily damaged & worn while this one has just a little generel light shelfwear & edge scuffing evident with no rips or splits.

The vinyl has been reasonably well looked after but there are a few paper scuffs and just the odd light superficial scratch that have little to no effect on play.
A certain amount of background noise between tracks and in quiet passages should be expected.

An acceptable if not mint collection filler at a very advantageous price.
