Original 1st US Atlantic Records pressing of Led Zeppelin’s fourth studio album released on November 8th, 1971. It’s impossible to find a factory sealed copy of this album. The front cover contains the original large ZOSO four symbol song title hype sticker with the “1841 Broadway, New York, N.Y.” address and Atlantic Records fan logo. The 1st pressing four digit “SD 7208” catalog number is indicated below the fan logo. The same four-digit catalog number is located on the second hype sticker reading “Contains the Hit Singles Black Dog and Rock And Roll Over”. This is a very rare sticker combination as the majority of copies of this album have the yellow “Stairway To Heaven” sticker instead. This copy is the very early pressing and not the repressing with the 5-digit catalog number and “75 Rockefeller Plaza, N.Y. NY” address.

Beautiful factory sealed copy in vintage Mint condition. The shrink wrap containing the original breathe holes, one on each side of the album, is fully intact and doesn’t have any splits, tears or missing pieces.

It’s very often to see a record store price sticker on the record from the 1960s with the album obtaining a short, but unique story as one can immediately tell what store it was initially sold and purchased at. Besides the record store price sticker, the currently listed copy of The Beatles “Revolver” comes with an original rare insert. This is the first time we’ve ever come across such a combination. The owner of this copy of the legendary Beatles’ album released by Capitol Records in 1966, acquired it at one of the Dayton’s chain stores. This the legendary chain of department stores with a 100 hundred year history, which is also known to us as a chain of discount stores Target. It’s astonishing that this factory sealed copy has been preserved in such a unique combination. The top right corner of the front cover contains an original Dayton’s price sticker with the record store’s logo which compiled the statistics of its music album sales and based on it made its own pamphlets which were found on the store’s shelves or at the checkout. This insert can be rightly called the triumph of The Beatles legendary album. The front side of the fold-out insert contains the “Revolver” album’s artwork and “Album Of The Week” banner with the album’s brief description and large Capitol Records logo right below it. The insert’s spread is dedicated to the Best of the Best Selling LP’s with the No.1 spot in the “Teen Tunes” section also being occupied by The Beatles Revolver. In this case, the insert serves as a catalogue suggesting the buyer to choose his or her albums of preferences along the store’s large selection. The pamphlet’s back side includes the “Top 40” hit list for week ending September 3, 1966. The No.1 spot is also occupied by The Beatles with their hit single “Yellow Submarine” written by Paul McCartney and performed by Ringo Starr. It remains to be added that the currently listed factory sealed copy contains a very rare original yellow oval 3” x 2” "Includes The Beatles' Fabulous "Yellow Submarine" & "Eleanor Rigby"! ST-2576” promotional single hype sticker affixed to the shrink wrap. This sticker was applied only to the 1st pressing copies of the album. Interestingly enough, Capitol Records printed these stickers with the stereo prefix only (ST-2576), but they were affixed to Mono covers as well. Since the hype sticker was affixed to the very early copies, it's most likely, this copy contains the 1st print Mono labels with the "Lennon-McCartney" author credits without the first names. (The later pressings used the authors' full names) Original 1st pressing factory sealed copy with a very rare glossy back cover. Since Dayton’s stores were located on the East Coast and Capitol Records didn’t ship its records from the West Coast to the East Coast due to the transportation costs, this copy was most likely pressed at the Scranton plant because if it were a Jacksonville plant pressing it would have the RIAA “4” on the back cover.

The album is in superb Mint condition with the fully intact shrink wrap containing the original breathe holes, two on the back cover. The original Dayton’s “Album of the Week: Revolver” insert is in great vintage Near Mint condition without having any tears or splits.
