Description
This is an incredibly rare Classic Records 45 RPM TEST PRESSING of Led Zeppelin, “Stairway to Heaven,” dated November 10, 2000. This is a one-sided pressing of just the song “Stairway to Heaven,” and NOT the rest of the album. Side two is blank.
Classic Records would provide these test pressings to audiophile record reviewers, I got one and I forgot I’ve had it for more than 10 years. I played it once when I first got it, and played the first few bars recently to check to see what speed the record was! The disc looks exceptional but since I played it I’m calling it Near Mint. The sleeve is in Excellent shape and the record comes with the original plastic (opened) sleeve.
I have been collecting records and CDs for over 45 years and have decided to begin selling items from my collection as I no longer have the time to listen or the room to keep all my records. Keep your eyes open for many more records up for auction as time goes on. All of my records have been fanatically well kept over the decades in a smoke-free home.
