Recorded At Chicago Stadium – April 9, 1977
Led Zeppelin were an English rock band, and are one of the most successful groups in popular music history. Led Zeppelin consisted of four men: Jimmy Page (guitar), Robert Plant (lead vocals, harmonica), John Bonham (drums), and John Paul Jones (bass guitar, keyboards and mandolin). Formed in 1968, Led Zeppelin were innovators who never lost mainstream appeal. While the band are best known as pioneers of hard rock and heavy metal, they also drew inspiration from many other musical genres, including blues, rockabilly, reggae, soul, funk, jazz, classical, Celtic, Indian, Arabic, folk, pop, Latin and country.
*NOTE – Although Side Two of Album list Since I’ve Been Loving & Down By The Seaside - it is a misprint – NONE of these 2 songs are on the Album – Side Two = No Quarter & Ten Years Gone. During No Quarter fire works go off – Plant addresses the audience at the end of song to stop only to have the culprits continue. Robert Plant gets the idiots removed in a classy & controlled way – Well Done!! This show is where Jimmy Page gets sick from China White. Album was bought in the Import section at Harmony Hut – which disolved in the late eighties.
