The hard rock album that started it all, or at least set the standard for what was to follow. Here we have one of the most iconic releases of all time, not only musically but also in terms of collectability. This particular copy surely has to be one of the very best in existence and is certainly a copy for investors as much as it is collectors. There are several copies appearing here now and again but the condition rarely meets the standard of this one!

Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself. Everything here is complete and correct, including the patented polylined sleeve. VERY FIRST PRESS labels have the Superhype credits and the A/1 B/1 matrix numbers are uncorrected - the real deal!

The fully laminated SLEEVE is in stunning condition. The only notable flaw is some lamination lift either side of the spine, though it is fully intact and not cracked or split.  Lamination lift is very common with most copies. Apart from that it's NEAR MINT with no edgewear, splits or writing. Opening edges are sharp and not frayed, spine is fully readable and intact. Very hard to find better than this.

The VINYL is in seriously stunning Near Mint condition virtually like new!

Both Labels are Near Mint,  and have the all important Superhype credits. This record appears to have been played no more than once or twice. One very feint spindle line on side two suggests that perhaps only side one was ever played! There is still even a small fleck on vinyl at the inside edge of the spindle hole - seriouslt rare in this shape.

All in all a TOP COPY of this monster for the SERIOUS collector. Extremely difficult to find a copy as good as (let alone better than) this one. Any questions, please ask!

Good luck & happy bidding!

Please bid only of you intend to pay, thanks.

Please note, I always remove records from main sleeve when packing to avoid seam splits during trasportation, unless the record is still sealed. I will happilly open the seal carefully at sellers request to remove from sleeve if desired.  I use cruciform LP mailers (NOT envelopes) with multiple stiffeners for added safety. I have also started using corner protectors too :-)

Please also note that I will now only send records by Recorded, Airsure and International Signed for. I will no longer send records without a tracking number, so please do not bid if you object to the shipping costs, thanks.
