I am putting up for auction A LOT OF LED ZEP PROMO RECORDS from my vinyl collection that may be of interest to other collectors.
Here is a GREAT LED ZEPPELIN PROMOTIONAL RECORD for you to add to YOUR vinyl collection if you’re the high bidder!!!
Here are the details about the record in this auction:
· “LED ZEPPELIN” self-titled 7-inch EP by Led Zeppelin that is a Compact 33 intended for jukebox play.
· This 7-inch record plays at 33 1/3 RPMS.
· This record was issued in 1971 to promote the Led Zeppelin IV LP (also known as “ZoSo”) that contained “Stairway to Heaven”.
· This is Atlantic Records SD 7-7208.
· It is also referred to as LLP (Little LP) # 171 on the picture cover that was issued with it. However, THERE IS NO PICTURE COVER IN THIS AUCTION.
· As you may know, PROMO RECORDS such as this Compact 33 were released by record companies ONLY to the radio stations and DJs for airplay and for jukebox play. They were not released or made available to the general public, and they were produced in VERY limited quantities.
· Side 1 has 2 cuts, “Rock And Roll” and “Black Dog”.
· Side 2 has 1 cut, “Stairway to Heaven”.
· The VINYL is graded VG+. There are some very light surface hairlines/scuffs. The record has lots of gloss!
· This is a tough record to find these days, so don’t let this auction pass you by. It will be a wonderful addition to your vinyl collection.
