Description

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin (first album)

Led Zeppelin is the debut album of the English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was recorded in October 1968 at Olympic Studios in London and released on Atlantic Records on 12 January 1969 in the United States and 31 March 1969 in the United Kingdom. The album featured integral contributions from each of the group's four musicians and established Led Zeppelin's fusion of blues and rock. Led Zeppelin also created a large and devoted following for the band, with their take on the emerging heavy metal sound endearing them to a section of the counterculture on both sides of the Atlantic.

This 1969 Atlantic LP is the orange lettered LP - 588171 with the matrix 588171 A//1  1  2  9  6 on side 01 and 588171 B//1  1  1.3   on side 02 There are some "grease" marks on the vinyl but they don't detract from the overall listening quality of such a classic album there are also some visible light scratches not feel-able or more audible than acceptable surface noise. I have just listened to the album and even the quiet parts do not suffer from the aforementioned visible marks and scratches.

The laminated cover has a scratch on the front... The spine is good and 100% readable...

I am not a vinyl dealer I am a collector and many of my LPs were bought by myself from new.

VERY GOOD:

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,

despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
