Description

For Sale:

 

One copy of the Classic Records reissue of Led Zeppelin’s third album Led Zeppelin III.  This is the out-of-print 180 gram version (not the newer, but also out-of-print, 200 gram version).

 

This album is inscribed SD-7201-A / SD-7201-B  and with the initials BG for Bernie Grundman, the remastering engineer.  I verified it is the 180 gram pressing with a scale.

 

This album comes from my private collection and I am the original owner.  I have listened to it several times on a well cared for turntable.

 

This album looks and sounds fantastic.  The cover and album are in immaculate condition (NM/NM).

The album will be packed in a professional LP mailer with heavy cardboard pads on either side.  The album will be removed from the outer sleeve for transport.

UPDATE - 2/22

In response to requests, I have now play graded this album.  The grade of NM remains the same.  The noise floor is very low, the album sounds as good the first time I played it, 12 years ago.

 

I would rate it mint except:

1) The auction winner might find a flaw that I didn't and provide negative feedback.

2) It has been played and therefore can't be rated mint (according to Goldmine Grading Standards)
