This is a Led Zeppelin Houses of the Holy LP that has been autographed by all three surviving members of Led Zeppelin.

The first person to sign it was Robert Plant, whom I was lucky enough to meet backstage at Brixton Academy after he performed there in December 1993.

 Next came John Paul Jones, who signed this and another record for me in November 1994 after a concert at the IrvingPlaza in New York, during his legendary ‘comeback’ tour with Diamond Galas.

Finally, the Page & Plant European Tour the next year gave me a chance to complete the signing when I managed to find my way backstage to meet Jimmy Page at a July show at the Arts Centre in Poole, England. I tried to get Robert Plant to sign it a second time for novelty value but he gave it one glance and looked straight on to the guy next to me – I guess he thought it was one he’d just done!

The cover has minor rubbing around the edges but is generally in very good condition, with the original wrap-around title sleeve still present and intact. The inner sleeve is in near perfect condition and the vinyl itself is also very well preserved.

Just a word about authenticity – some people sell “Certificates of Authenticity” with their autographed items. I don’t have one of these, for two reasons: firstly, I don’t think they certify anything, and secondly, I’m not going to go up to a guy, ask him to sign a record and then ask him to sign a form that says he actually did the signing! It’s madness!

I don’t get things signed in order to cash in on other people’s success – I attend concerts and collect autographs purely for my own pleasure. The reason I am selling this one is that after a great many years’ collecting I’m having difficulty finding space for my newer records – as you can imagine – so I’ve decided to start selling some of my less precious pieces. If someone else gets to share the fun and I get a few quid out of it then we all go home happy!

I cannot offer a return policy on this item, and this is why:

If you choose to return it to me it will be for one of two reasons - either the item will have been damaged during shipment or you will have decided you don't actually want it.

 
In the case of damage in transit, this is the shipping company's responsibility and for obvious reasons has nothing to do with me, although I will try my best to pack the item carefully so that it is as full protected as possible. If you are concerned about this then I am happy to have it insured for you at extra cost.

If you don’t actually want it – don’t bid on it! I have given an honest description of the record in question and if you think it is not to your liking or if you don’t believe the autographs are genuine then please do not bid on it. I personally was there when the gentlemen in question signed this record and not even the most informed ‘expert opinion’ is going to convince me otherwise!

The only case in which I would consider giving a refund is if you can prove the item to have been significantly not as described – if you think this is the case after receiving it then by all means contact me. However, I think I have given a very fair representation of it here.
