Description
Here are all six cover variations for Led Zeppelin's 'In Through The Out Door' Looking at all of these, front and back, together, creates a really intriguing story. The detail throughout all the photos and the different angles present a truly inspired and classic design from the Hipgnosis design group.
It took me years of scouring used record stores and e-bay to collect the whole set: you can get them all in minutes....
I can't verify the quality of the vinyl inside the covers: I acquired them, painstakingly, over a number of years to get the covers. Here is a general rundown of cover quality, etc.
Cover 'A' - Near Mint - no ring wear, no creases -
Cover 'B' - Very Good - small ding on the front, i.e. looks as though a small piece of tape was pulled off lifting a small amount of the graphics (1/8 inch square) and some slight dings
Cover 'C' - Near Mint - two barely visible creases along the top
Cover 'D' - Very Good - some creasing along the title edge. Inside cover has been colored. (as you may know, the inside cover/sleeve was a water color sleeve: black and white until brushed with water which then brought out hidden colors....)
Cover 'E' - Good - basic graphics of the sleeve are fine. There is a crush along the title edge and some creasing here and there.
Cover 'F' - Very Good - A one inch scuff along the top in front and a little creasing along the opening. Graphics are otherwise good overall.
There are two outer bags included with the set.
I collected these to scan and save as digital images: that project completed, the collection is up for bid.
