Here’s a GREAT LED ZEPPELIN PROMO LP that you just don’t run across often and when you do, it has a high “Buy It Now” price. This is a TRUE auction with NO “Buy-it Now” price, NO Reserve and a LOW starting bid. This LP comes from my own collection.

In this auction:

· “LED ZEPPELIN IV” (also known as “ZOSO”) by Led Zeppelin

· This is Atlantic Records SD 7208.

. Has "Porky" and "Pecko Duck" in run outs denoting this is George Peckham pressing!

· It has a GATEFOLD COVER.

· It was released in 1971 and is a STEREO LP.

· This is a WHITE LABEL PROMO PRESSING!!!

· As you may know PROMO RECORDS were issued in very limited quantities and provided to DJs/Radio Stations (NOT to the general public) for airplay to promote the single or the LP that has the single on it.

· It has GREAT Led Zeppelin tunes on it: “Black Dog”, “Rock and Roll”, “The Battle of Evermore”, “Stairway to Heaven”, “Misty Mountain Hop”, “Four Sticks”, “Going to California”, and “When the Levee Breaks”.

· The COVER is in VG+ CONDITION. There is very light overall wear. There is light wear on the corners and bottom edge. There are NO seam splits, NO writing, VERY SLIGHT ring wear on the rear, and NO tears on this cover. On the front cover is a rectangular white “Promotional Copy NOT FOR SALE” sticker and a black rectangular sticker with white print that lists the tracks on the LP.

· The VINYL I must VISUALLY grade the record a strong VG+ due to a strange hair shaped scuff on side one, and a minor warp. See photo. PLEASE NOTE: THESE ISSUES DO NOT AFFECT PLAY!!

. The VINYL I PLAY GRADE Vg++. This album plays GREAT! Full sonics, great dynamics. Very Faint surface noise in the usual places. Lead in groove, between songs. Considering the age of this album it plays FANTASTIC!

· The LABELS are CLEAN & WHITE with no writing on them, The labels have “SAMPLE COPY NOT FOR SALE” printed on them. Small discolored spot on side one.

· The textured paper custom inner sleeve is also included that lists the song tracks and credits on one side and the lyrics to “Stairway To Heaven” on the other side. This custom inner paper sleeve has 2-inch split on one side.
