Description
Led Zeppelin IV UK pressed in 1975 (despite the 1971 date on the label) ran off a batch of records (between 5000-8000 units). Carlton Productions made only for the Irish market. With the run out number K-50008 A&B and STRAWBERRY pressed. Ordered by Atlantic Records for the mandatory recall of mislabeled records. Most of the units got caught before distribution. Only a few dozen (less than 100) are believed to exist today. Mostly in the hands of private hardcore LZ collectors. Another odd thing about the record is on Side A, Track 3, it is misspelled "the Battle of EVENmore" (See photo).
The condition is as follows:
Cover - is EX, has very light inner wear on the left side and a bumped top right corner. Has a very strong, non-worn spine and has the Warner Bros logo embossed on the lower back corner by the spine. Comes with original insert.
Vinyl - is EX, play grading as I'm writing out this listing, a few light ticks at the beginning and end grooves, small spindle crack in the label sticker (1cm) on side 2, has some surface scuffs and scratches that don't affect play, but visually at VG+, has some pressing stain on both sides that do not effect play.
