Description

LED ZEPPELIN IV

Original Labels with "Misty Mountain Top" Mis-print
"Porky Pecko" mastered both sides
Atlantic Records Deluxe 2401012: MATRIX NOs: A3 / B4
I bought this record recently but my personal copy has ended up being in better shape overall so I'm listing this one for sale instead

Please note, there is a series of very deep marks / scratches on "Black Dog". Because of this, the track is mostly unplayable as it jumps very often each time it hits the mark. Otherwise the record is in a really nice shape and plays awesome on my turntable. I'm not going to provide a specific grading but please note that beyond this faulty track, it plays extremely well and the Porky Pecko mastering sounds delightful.
There are other marks surrounding the aforementioned scratches and I'm not sure if it's from the stylus playing these segments or someone trying to use abrasion on the surface. There's also what looks to be some sleeve removal scuffs that are around about the first and second tracks of Side 1 but as far as I can tell, they have no audible effect.
The cover is in a very nice, Excellent - condition with some signs of wear to the corners, the top seams and on the spine. The artwork looks very lovely on this one!

The album comes with it's original inner sleeve that also has some old price stickers on it and generally feels excellent but the bottom seam is entirely torn and will need repairing. A generic paper inner sleeve is included that is minty fresh from around about the same era, it holds the record no problem and keeps the surfaces protected.
Please note that this record is NOT mint and is not 100% playable. I normally wouldn't sell a record like this since one of the tracks is completely unplayable but otherwise it's in really nice shape and it's a rather rare misprinted pressing, so perhaps this could serve as a nice collection filler instead. The other tracks do sound wonderful and I've tried to factor this in to my price.
Any questions, please feel free to message me! I combine postage on multiple purchases :)
