This UK 1st pressing of their 4th studio album dates from initial November 1971 release and is on the 'plum' Atlantic label: 2401012

Both labels have 'Led Zeppelin' in the lower half and carry the 'Executive Producer: Peter Grant' credit.

Track 1 on side 2 is correctly spelt as 'Misty Mountain Hop'.

Matrix numbers: 2401012 (B// is xxed out) A//3 & 2401012 B//3

'PECKO DUCK' & 'PORKY' are hand inscribed into each run-out respectively.

Stamper Codes: 11 7 & 12 2

Vinyl weight: 124g

Housed within an uncredited, unlaminated UK printed gatefold cover with a sealed front pocket.

Complete with its original matt printed inner-sleeve.

A clean & unworn set with a moderate collection of light well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Superb clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are free from any noticeable surface marks or wear when viewed in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp bear numerous wispy paper-type hairlines, but nothing I would call a scratch. Both sides of this well looked-after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Overall Sound Quality Overall: EXCELLENT

'Stairway To Heaven' Sound Quality: VERY GOOD

This copy has received a moderate amount of careful play and there is no overall major deterioration the sound quality. 'Stairway To Heaven' has obviously been played the most and some groovewear and light background crackle is audible throughout this track. Apart from a touch of low-level background on 'Going To California', side 2 plays without any significant audible faults and there is still much to enjoy on this classic.

Cover: VERY GOOD +

A clean & strong example with mild shelfwear but no significant or major faults. Both front & rear panel are clean & unfaded with just a very faint disc impression to the rear. There is some wear to the left corners but the the right two and opening edges are clean & undamaged.

The inside of the gatefold is clean slight rubbing along the left edge but no writing or missing paper anywhere. There is a hint of shelfwear to the lower edge but no stresses or splits to any & the unworded spine is clean and undamaged.

Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD

Clean & uncreased but with the ghost of a sticker in one upper right corner and 2cm splits to the lower and one side seam.
