Description

Led Zeppelin's fourth album, commonly known as Led Zeppelin IV, has a different and notable cover in this image. This is a rare, unofficial Russian (Soviet/post-Soviet) pressing of the album from 1991, released on the AnTrop record label.
The album cover in the image features Cyrillic text that translates to "Led Zeppelin IV," and the iconic photograph of the man with a bundle of sticks is framed differently.
Album Cover Details
The original photograph on the album cover is of a 19th-century Wiltshire thatcher named Lot Long, taken by a photographer named Ernest Farmer.
The original cover juxtaposes this framed photograph of a rural man against the backdrop of a decaying urban wall.
This specific Russian pressing is considered a bootleg and was released by producer and sound engineer Andrei Tropillo.
To avoid copyright issues, Tropillo often altered the artwork on his releases.
Some Russian pressings of Led Zeppelin's fourth album were released as a double LP that also included the album Houses of the Holy (which was labeled as "V").

This vinyl and its sleeve show their age, which is perfectly normal for a record that’s over 30 years old. The vinyl surface is a bit scratched and you can hear some light background noise during playback. There’s a bit of interference here and there, but nothing that spoils the listening experience — the album still plays well and is enjoyable to listen to. Please check all photos and videos carefully before purchasing, as the item is sold as non-returnable. Because of its age and condition, I’m offering this rare copy at a very reasonable, reduced price.

Thank you very much for your interest in this record. This collection originally belonged to my father and grandfather, and since they no longer listen to it, I am passing it on so that others can enjoy the music. If you have any questions or would like to see more photos of a particular vinyl, please don’t hesitate to contact me — I’ll be happy to help.
The original record sleeve has been placed inside a brand new protective outer cover.
I’ve also added a new inner protective sleeve for the vinyl itself, while keeping the original paper inner sleeve — it will be included in the package as well.

I have a large collection of over 1,000 records, so feel free to return anytime and explore more. I am always glad to share details, photos, or even videos if you wish. Wishing you a wonderful day!
