Led Zeppelin. IV, 4. Rarest Sticker Version!! Earliest matrices: A3/B3. Plum and Orange. UK 1971. Pecko Duck / Porky in run out groove. Nice all round EX condition!!!


These version 3s are now almost impossible to find as only out for a short time!!


Note on this version: Perhaps the rarest of all variants of this release. This is the very first version with Peter Grant credits on the labels but with stickers placed over the Grant credits, and further stickers with the band name (which originally wasn’t printed on either sleeve or labels. 

The interim measure before printing the band name on the labels (version 5 onwards) was to attach stickers. This was clearly not ideal and probably only a small amount were stickered, hence its rarity now.


Vinyl: Lots of dark rich sheen and shine in natural light, looks beautiful. But please note I have detected a number of hairlines and thin lines on either side when held up to very bright sunlight or bright lamplight. Overall: EX!!!


Labels: Two stickers on each side, covering up Peter Grant and giving correct publishing credits, and band name, previously omitted. Small white scuff on side 2 (pictures). Minimal spindling.


Cover: Great all-round condition. Odd creases and bits of white scuffing. Lovely clean dark inner print. Bit of rubbing at record entrance and some rubbing at cover peripheries. Some spinal scuffing . Overall EX!!!


Inner cover lyric sheet: Original Grey Brown. Better than most I have seen. Some creasing, couple of very small splits. Bit of glue marks and creasing at bottom of both sides. Small mark next to: To the West on lyric sheet. Small pencil mark next to rune feather. All clearly pictured.
