This superb copy of their 3rd studio album is a UK 1st pressing from initial October 1970 release on the 'plum' Atlantic label: 2401002

Both labels carry the 'Executive Producer: Peter Grant' credit and the 'Under licence...' wording.

Hand etched matrix numbers: 2401002 A-5 & 2401002 B-5

'Do what thou wilt' & 'So mote it be' is also hand inscribed into each respective run-out.

Stamper Codes: 11 4 & 11 8

Housed within a fully laminated 'E.J. Day Group' printed 'Deluxe' gatefold cover with rotatable laminated card disc inside the front panel.

Complete with its original & correct poly-lined inner-sleeve.

A 1st class set with just a small handful of faint spindle trails visible around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Immaculate, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are both unmarked and 'as new' when viewed in strong daylight. Close and careful inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals only some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal but no other blemishes or wear whatsoever. Both sides of this barely played copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: NEAR MINT

This barely played copy sounds amazing and my single careful playcheck at volume detected absolutely no trace of any groove/playwear distortion on any track or in either channel. The entire album is also free from any background interference and there is not a single click, pop or tick to be heard anywhere. You will not be disappointed with the incredible sound on this well-looked after 1st pressing.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A very strong and firm example of this complex and attractive cover with retains a bright & clean front panel with just a hint of toning around the edges but a fully functioning rotating volvelle. There are small bruises to the left corners but all are in otherwise excellent unworn shape, as are both opening edges.

The rear panel has some minor storagewear rubbing & edge-toning, together with the impression of a few figures which are only visible at a certain angle.

The inside of the gatefold is clean with again, a hint of toning towards the upper edges, but otherwise is completely unworn.

The spine is square, uncrushed & fully laminated with all the text covered and readable.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & flat with some light age-toning and faint disc impression, but no writing, seam splits or tears.
