Description
An original 1st pressing of Zeppelin III on the UK Atlantic label. Matrix A5/B5. Please note the label mentions 'Peter Grant' - this along with the matrix numbers singles this LP out as the very 1st pressing. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Gatefold printed by E.J. Day. Also included is the original inner sleeve date coded to September 1970 just a month prior to release. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In fantastic condition and you only have to take a quick look at those labels to know this LP has seen minimal use. Under close inspection there are a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. I shouldn't need to remind anyone why these red & plum copies are so sought after - it's all in the audio! Interference is minor. All we detected was a touch of light static in a couple of isolated moments. A supremely well preserved original and difficult to imagine going any better.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and has clearly been carefully looked after down the years. Ok, so there's a touch of ageing around the extremities [almost inevitable]. Lovely shiny front and rear without markings, tears, or wear. Even the edges are not heavily worn or malleable - this tends to suggest light use. The wheel is in fully working order. Interior - very nice barring some light specks. Spine - 100% intact. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity and is a very very solid example of this original Zep classic.
Inner (Ex-) Nice condition. No splits. Bit of ageing.
Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
