Description
Up for sale is the album Led Zeppelin II. It was pressed by Monarch and released by Atlantic in 1968. It is a true 1st pressing known as the “Hot Mix” it has RL (Robert Ludwig) and SS (Sterling Sound) hand etched on both sides of the album. Only 200,000 copies were pressed before Atlantic recut the masters do to some stereo cartridges couldn’t handle the original cut. All albums moving forward are from the recut of the album.

The album is cleaned (spin cleaned and brushed) and play tested. It has one tiny skip on track 1 side 1, I thought it was a pop at first but it is a skip. The album plays through besides that with no catching. It does have moderate static during quieter parts of the album but nothing that ruins the listening experience, once the band starts getting loud it’s not noticeable. The album has minor scratches and scuffs. It still has nice gloss to it still and the labels are in fantastic condition. VG-
The cover has shelf wear and mild foxing. The top right back cover of the gate fold has a 3 inch split to the opening. It is free of ink and tape. VG-
This is great record for anyone looking for the original US 1st pressing of this album.
