Description
LED ZEPPELIN II ROBERT LUDWIG HOT MIX RL SS first pressing with RL and SS (Sterling Sound) on side one and LH SS on side two. Lee Hulko (Robert Ludwig’s mastering partner) according to Ludwig’s mastering.
The 50+ year old record plays through but was partied hard. Vinyl has scuffs and scratches (mostly hairline) over all of it. Lots of crackle heard in quieter parts and when louder parts kick in its not heard as much, but it’s there through the record. Did not skip on my upgraded Rega Planar 3 with Dynavector 10x5 cartridge but when played on the Kenwood KD-3070 with Grado Black I thought I may have heard several slight jumps so i do not guarantee you will not hear it jump. I vacuum cleaned it using Tergi-kleen.
Vinyl grade Good. See grading scale below for descriptions.
The Cover is Good has edge and spine wear, stains and marks, bottom seam part split.
Inner sleeve is not the original, provided with Mofi archival sleeve.
GRADING SCALE: M Mint - usually reserved for sealed records. NM Near Mint with only one or two insignificant defects. EXC Extremely nice, would be NM except for a few light hairline scratches or scuffs which do not affect play. VG+ A nice but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or scratches. It may play with a few pops or ticks but no serious problems. VG A well used record that still sounds OK but may have moderate surface noise, pops, etc. G A very worn record that plays through will do until a better copy comes along!
