Description

Led Zeppelin Original German Robert Ludwig Side One. 1969. This has the first US mastered side one matrix & the remastered side two.Bit of a rare item this and every led Zeppelin collector should have the chance to listen to the original Robert ludwig mastered led zep ii.

The first US issues where recalled due to the RL hot mix making cheap record needles jump and the head of Atlantic records Ahmet Ertegun's daughter was one of the first to receive a copy & due to the heavy bass it made the needle jump.. So he recalled them & had it remastered which made it sound rather dull and lifeless. This copy has quite a few light lines tho still sounds rather good.
