Description
For sale today is Led Zeppelin II, SD 8236, on Atlantic Records!
This album has the RL etch in the matrix on both sides of the album and graded at a high EX condition. I would grade the album at NM-, however, there are light crackles at random real quiet areas of the album and there are very minimal hair line scratches.
The Matrix Run Outs include the following etches;
Side one:
ST-A-691671-A W AT RL LWP
Side two:
ST-A-691672-A RL SS LW AT
Playing the album, the song "Thank you" on side one (1) is the best version I have ever heard with maybe two or three light crackles throughout the entire song. If you know the song...The song is a relatively quiet song and it sounds like I am streaming it but better. If anyone would like to hear any parts of the album before bidding please shoot me an email and I will send you a clip via text message or facebook so you can hear it.
Starting on side two (2), the bass is amazing and the mastering sounds incredible. There are a few crackles at various points which is still to be expected but I am not using the highest quality cartridge.
I test played this album in its entirety with a Denon DP 51-F turntable equipped with a Grado Red Cartridge through a Fisher X-202b Integrated Amplifier and Dynaco A-25 Speakers in a dedicated music listening room.
Grading:
As stated in the first paragraph of this description, the album is graded at EX with slight hairline scratches.
The Album Jacket has starting of spine ware on the album name side and a slight stain on the front side of the cover, bottom right. Please see photos!
Additional Notes:
This album was machine cleaned on a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine.
