SUPER RARE ORIG UK PYE CONTRACT PRESSING IN LOVELY SHAPE!!

I'm sure most of you know the deal with contract pressings - UK record labels (in this case Polydor) would sometimes pay other labels to press copies of their albums if they could not keep up with demand at the time. Beatles' ones are of course the most well-known, but I'd say this is a bit lesser-known. It is a true UK Pye pressing (often stated to be a US pressing but it is definitely a UK pressing), indicated by the double middle rings on the labels and the etched (not stamped) run-outs!!

This Pye contract pressing is rare enough but what makes this even more unusual is that it has the 'Livin' Lovin' Wreck' title on the side 2 label - a very early error which was corrected after the very first run. This has 'Lemon Song' on the side 1 label too. I have seen quite a few Pye contract pressings come up for sale over the years with 'Maid' labels but have never seen one with a 'Wreck' label - these are super hard to come by!!

HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS!! DON'T MISS OUT!!

Disc is VG+/VG++ : clean disc, light staining on side 1 label, light marks, groove wear at start and in middle of Whole Lotta Love which causes few hiss noises otherwise sounds great!!

Gatefold sleeve is VG+ : small edge creases, light edge wear, light ring wear, light staining, no splits or tears!!
