"RL" Cut, PR - Presswell Pressing  - Robert Ludwig "Hot Mastering" both sides.

US 1st pressing (with the 1841 Broadway address on the labels), featuring Robert Ludwig's "hot" mastering on both sides. These were withdrawn early because the high bass levels caused low-grade cartridges to mistrack, leading people to return the album on the belief that it was defective. Another engineer was then hired to recut a much less "hot" version of the album, and that is the far more common version.

On some copies the Sterling Sound credit, "SS", appears in both runouts following Ludwig's "RL", and on others the "SS" appears only in the Side Two runout. The "RL" will still appear in both runouts.

Condition Record: VG+(+) Very nice. Light sleeve scuffs only, couple hairlines. (seen in pic of side 1, the hair at top of pic is not a scratch) Name written on side 2 label. Platter lies perfectly flat on turntable. cleaned on VPI. Fully playgraded.

Side 1 plays nice VG+ , Side 2 Plays VG+/EX

Graded very strict like I would grade a new record. Sounds !@#$ Awesome! Check my 5 star feedback of satisfied vinyl buyers.

Cover: VG. has shelf wear, nickel size stain top left. 4 inch split bottom, general age wear, not too bad. inside gatefold nice. Name 4 inches on back. name written inside opening. (see pics)
