Sensational sound quality, NO skips or jumps. NO clicks, this is really a stunning vinyl with a beautiful deep gloss.
Vinyl: VG+!!! But this SOUNDS EX AT THE VERY LEAST!!!! I will only ever sell albums that play through without any sticks or jumps (unless of great value and obscurity).One of the greatest stereo recordings ever done!!! Sensational vinyl with a few hairlines. None of these are deep. This album was mostly played to pulp and it is very hard to find an even half-decent example. Some real magic going on on this recording!! The CD version does not even come close to this!!! There was some little static on first play, but on second play this seems to have disappeared for the greatest part!! The high groove walls of these early vinyls make sure that aforementioned hairlines cannot be noticed on replay. A great credit, again, to the vinyl of the Golden Era, esp. Atlantic, Island and Vertigo!!! Overall this sounds astonishing, beautiful channelling, as if you were at their concert.
I have played this in FULL> twice over!! The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! There are not any jumps or skips. There is hardly any static noise at all!! Just a little bit on the start of each side. Very remarkable for this 1969 vinyl!!! A credit to these early presses which just ooze quality. The high groove walls do their work and make sure of a quality listen!!! . Listening to "Heartbreaker" now, ...... astounding sound!!! I am playing this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers with there famed Nautilus tweeters unveiling any faults!!! This is faultless audio!!!
Sleeve: VG+ Unlaminated Gatefold . Some edge and corner rubwear. The spine is fully legible. Slight ringwear to the back of the sleeve. Some creases on the back sleeve where the vinyl is housed. Sleeve "Printed and made by E.J.Day & Co. London W11. A small bottom edge split to the back sleeve on the bottom approx. 2" near the opening. Let's not forget, this is now 41 years old.

Plain inner with "Plastic Bags can be Dangerous" in blue print, yellowed with age and with splits, but will include a fresh inner as well.
These earliest original Zep albums are soooooooo hard to get hold of nowadays, even in the U.K. Most of these are now tucked away in collections all over the world. Although this is nowhere near mint, it is still a pretty decent copy that will sit nicely in any collection.
