Led Zeppelin. II, 2. 1st Press!! 1969. Red Plum label. rare ‘WRECK' error A2/B2
This is the rare and sought after 1969 original release with “ ‘Livin’ Lovin’ Wreck “ on side 2 label for track 2 ( later corrected to Maid)
It is not in perfect condition but still very good all round and plays ok with no jumps , more than a filler.
There is a slight warp which can be seen and it plays with a few odd clicks and some crackle in the quietest bits / the music though still comes over strong so definitely a very good playable copy! -
Gatefold sleeve has handling and age related wear , a few stains , some rubbing - still has a readable (just) spine and in top corner a bit of that ‘copper green’ showing it to be the earliest version
Inside gatefold is clean and nice
Poly lined inner is clean with just a few creases
Labels and vinyl definitely show signs of past use , a couple of scuffs and scratches and plenty of surface marks. Nothing that has any major impact - crackle between tracks and a few light clicks occasionally
It played through fine on test , twice , so a good enough listen.
