From 1973: BBC recording session material by Led Zeppelin. This 2011 white vinyl pressing is already scarce, probably because it's a nicely done job! Blimp records cat.# EV665 (do they have a catalog?) compiles some nice cuts from those sessions onto a well pressed and excellent sounding slab of white vinyl. The labels feature art prints of the band with track list on both sides in black and white.The cover is a brownish maroon color with sepia toned photo art. All is in fresh new like condition and fairly mint. Includes plain white inner sleeve in new condition. The record has one play under it's belt on a recently broken in and re-aligned Grado Gold Longhorn cartridge (I check alignment, VTF etc. often) for recording.  I must say this record sounds pretty amazing. Maybe not 200gram Quiex amazing, but pretty amazing...

GRADING: I look closely at everything under a very bright light and try not to list an item unless it is worth the effort, VG+ in general. Exceptions would be explained, for instance a very old deep groove record with nice play quality but less than VG looks might be worth the effort. Usually I see no reason to mess around with a disc less than VG to M, except for that rare exception.  I grade per Goldmine accepted standards and try to stay conservative.VG+ is the same as EX per Goldmine, My variation is that if I use the EX than it is a bit better than just VG+, more of a VG++ meaning marks are so insignificant as to be hardly worth mentioning: very few and very small and light if any and Inaudible. The record has a great sheen and rich sound on a very new like playing surface, records can often have dirt in the groove, even whan new and I try not to get into that too much unless a disc has obvious need for a deep cleaning , then I would mention that. To convey something more as the record approaches better quality in the NM range is to say: EX+ which just means 'damn close to NM' which is just my variation of their guidelines. NM is pretty much perfect and may as well be mint in my book. Mint is the knowledge of the disc having 1 or 2 plays or less. Sealed is self explanatory. If the record requires detailed explanation I try to give it,  so VG, VG+, EX and EX+ then NM and M. I just think there should be more gradations of grade terms to convey the grey area between VG+ and M.  Most people who collect and play these know what these grades are describing and I do my best to add description as even a garbage record can look pretty in a picture if the lighting is right, so words are more helpful here. This is kind of an arbitrary process overall depending on who is doing it so I try to grade conservatively with very bright light and provide a play grade where possible, I can't get all wordy on every item but so far this is a better process than saying evrything is VG+ with no other description other than a pic because although a seller can spit more out that way, I think that is when things slip through the cracks.

I package carefully for transport, with LPs in a clean extra sleeve next to cover both inside a poly protector sleeve with original inner sleeves stored inside cover. -the same way I store them. Usually it gets the anti-static extra sleeve, but no guarantee.  This has always been a practice to keep original inner sleeves in as nice a shape as possible. Sometimes  the LP has no special inner sleeve and uses a generic paper sleeve, I try to note if an item has a printed or custom inner, etc. Bubble wrap or similar will be used inside a cardboard media mailer with an extra cardboard slice etc. inside for extra protection.

I do not have access to magical mailing discounts although I can get limited tracking and insurance. Anywhere from $10.00 to $25.00 has been what I see as a possible average for shipping costs to Europe, Canada or Japan. I usually communicate enough to know an item is what the long distance international bidder wants and then I usually get insurance and split that cost.  I try to be accurate in my listing description and I also like to have things easy and not ship international -it's cheaper and works faster for me, but people from all over just ignore that I say U.S. only and bid anyway!   

 If there is an error on my part please let me know within 3 days after receiving and I am sure we can work it out. Buyer pays return postage of item as it was shipped to them. I know the items I am selling so it should go without saying that if an item is returned for some reason then it should be the exact same item sent to the buyer and not anything else.

The 1973 reference comes from the fact that they date the item on the back with that date. I don't have any real information as to the exact date of the material on this LP, It probably is from the 1970 or 1971 period when LZ did a lot of BBC recording.
