Here up for sale is this first pressing of ‘Led Zeppelin’ issued in early 1969 in The United States. This Lp came from the Michael Hobson collection, who was the founder of Classic Records. This hardly ever been played record sounded amazing today on my Thornes td 320 turntable with more detail & wide stereo soundscape that I have ever heard on this album. The record plays with hardly any clicks or pops between songs. The matrix has ‘GP’ in the deadwax on both sides, which means the master tape was mastered by George Piros from the original stereo analogue master tapes. Did I say the record plays with a great bottom end from Mr. John Paul Jones. This record is a Presswell pressing. The cover is also in near mint condition, being protected by the original factory shrink over the last 50 years. There is a small section of missing shrink on the top right corner. The cover also has 4 square corners. The original 1969 Atlantic Records company inner sleeve is in excellent shape with a bit of wear. This album will be professionally double boxed for protection through shipment with USPS priority mail. Thanks Frank
