Description

Led Zeppelin 1 LP Turquoise 'Hybrid'!!!! So, big Zep fan right and about 25 years ago I found this in a second hand music shop. OMG can't believe it, OK so the cover is a bit ratty and the LP looks ditto, but it's the one, the turquoise one YEAH!! and so I bought it pretty well just for the cover. Over the moon to own one of these. Well, I've got Zep1 UK vinyl, Japanese copy and CD to listen to. 
Turns out just as well I bought it only for the cover as about 10 years ago discovered that the record inside my Turquoise cover was actually from the orange cover issue that followed. See the pics for side one reading 588171 A//1 with scratched out second 8 and then hand written and on side two similar but less legible A//2 which let me to discover that this record is from the first 1969 batch of the orange cover. Plus the other big clue mine lists Warner Bross and not Superhype on the label. Clearly at some point some unscrupulous muppet has swopped the original out. ARGHHHHH!
So what I have for sale is the ORIGINAL 1969 first issue Turquoise cover, of I believe only 2,000 And a 1969 first Orange issue vinyl LP.
To be fair you can obviously play the LP but it is super crackly. If you are buying this it is for the cover and my suggestion is that you stick it in a frame on the wall giving you an epic looking pretty rare limited edition 48 year old piece of art.
I will pack this carefully in a spare Amazon LP delivery box and post to UK only for free. Or if you are near Swansea just come and pick it up. Could even listen to it over a cup of tea first.
Why am I selling my most prized LP? Because very sadly this beats using quick quid at the mo!
