THE LATIN JAZZ QUINTET - LATIN SOUL, Prestige New Jazz 8321, mono, Van Gelder in dead wax.
The musicians on this 1965 recording are Juan Amalbert (conga drums), Bobby Capers (alto sax), Artie Jenkins, Jose Ricci (piano), Jose Ricci (vibes, melodica), Bill Ellington (bass), Phil Newsome (drums, timbales).
The tunes are Blues Waltz, Milestones, Sunday Go Meetin', Mambo Bobbie, Rip a Dip, Monk's Bread, Red Top, Dilly Dali.
Condition of record is E, no scuffs, no scratches, a few spindle marks. Jacket shows some overall wear, seam split top right (2 inches) and bottom right (4 inches).
