Roy Rankin (b. Roy Fearon, 18th January, 1952) ) & Raymond Naptali (b. Raymond McCook, 15th January, 1961) were a successful early 80's combination deejay duo from England.

Raymond Naptali started deejaying for Fatman HiFi in 1980. Previously he had chatted for the london Sound System Serge Hifi.

They released one album together on the CF label (the owner Ribs, later of Unity Hifi, was Roy Rankins brother) and a number of 12" discos, mostly on KG Imperial, a label belonging to the North London Soundman, Fatman. Raymond Naptali also released a solo album.

My records for sale are used and have been played.

I have tried to grade fairly, but as you can appreciate grading and descriptions are subject to MY OWN interpretation, which may be on some occasions not agreeable to the buyer.

So remember you buy at your risk as if you are not happy with the grading or descriptions DON’T BUY.

I will only give full or partial refunds, where I have unintentionally mis-graded an item as long as the buyer can show that I have.

Record grading as follows:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
