Description
As part of National Album Day, the iconic British group The La's stands out from the rest - they have the distinction of releasing just one album among the celebrated bands. Their self-titled debut, released in 1990, is hailed by NME as one of the greatest albums of all time and was ranked #13 by Rolling Stone in their 2021 list of the top 40 'one-album wonders'. With 300,000 copies sold in the US and 500,000 in the UK, The La's has become a cornerstone in the indie music scene. This is in part due to their popular single 'There She Goes', which was reissued and reached #13 on the UK charts, achieving double-platinum sales. Now, their album is back in a limited edition 'coke-bottle green' vinyl, securing The La's place in British music history.
