Description
Lalo Garcia y Su Conjunto offer two rancheras on this Discos Columbia single. Dijiste y Juraste, co written by Alfonso Villagomez and Lalo Garcia, is about promises sworn and broken, with a heartfelt lead vocal and sturdy conjunto backing.
El Mar y la Esperanza, by Alfonso Villagomez, uses the sea and hope as images of a love still waiting, set to a gentle ranchera rhythm. Manufactured in the USA by Miami Records under license from Columbia, a pleasant and lesser known title for regional Mexican collectors.
Side A: Dijiste y Juraste (Alfonso Villagomez y Lalo Garcia) Ranchera
