Description

The album is a soulful fusion of funk, jazz, and R&B, with the track 'I Got The.' gaining iconic status through it's bassline, famously sampled in several hip-hop classics. Notably, Eminem's 'My Name Is', Jay-Z's 'Streets Is Watching', and Wu-Tang Clan's 'Killa Beez' all drew from this song. The album's rich instrumentation and introspective lyrics highlight Siffre's unique style, leaving a lasting legacy across genres.
