Description
LUSH - Split 4AD LP Test Pressing - very rare! This is an auction for a very rare 4AD vinyl test pressing. Test pressings are usually only produced in quantities of between 5 and 10 to be used by record companies and artists to check the quality of a vinyl cut.
This, and the other test pressings currently up for sale (see my other auctions), are from the collection of a former 4AD employee. All are simply packaged in plain white inner sleeves. Most have never been played (although it's hard to say which have, so they are all listed as 'Used'), and any superficial marks are caused only by storage of the records for the last 15 or more years, in the form of very light paper scuffs caused by contact with the paper sleeves. Specific details below.
Some of them may be rejected test pressings for cuts that proved to be sub-standard - the only way to know for sure is to check against the matrix numbers in the run-out grooves of these records against those on the retail versions of the same records.

YEAR: 1994 CONDITION OF VINYL: Almost immaculate - just a tiny bit of paper scuffing. Looks unplayed. This is a rare record even its retail version - this one is impossible to find.

All vinyl comes in the original paper inserts - I am happy to send in new poly-lined inners to protect the vinyl in transit, and to clean the vinyl (on request). All vinyl will be sent in sturdy mailers. POSTAGE:
