Description
Given to me as an unwanted gift, but offered here so a real LULU collector may give it a home! I’ll spend whatever this fetches on some records by artists I’m a collector of! It’s a black vinyl, white label 180g vinyl test pressing of the Record Store Day 2018 exclusive LULU album, Heaven And Earth And The Stars. Also included are two test pressings of the bonus 7” single, which was originally to be a picture disc, and so here they are pressed as such, but are blank on both sides. The commercial LP is on blue vinyl and the bonus 7” is black vinyl, so these test pressings are unique! Only a handful made! Featuring songs written/produced with David Bowie and Mick Ronson (The Man Who Sold The World, Watch That Man, etc).
The LP has a few finger prints where it’s been handled at the plant and some marks consistent with test pressings. The label has handwriting on (LULU RSD DEMREC256) and is stamped Side A. It’s in a plain white generic die cut, poly-lined bag and the rear is torn a little. Easily replaceable as it’s bog standard. The two picture disc 7” singles are in plain poly bags with stickers on featuring various details about the release. See photos - sorry they’re a bit dull, lack of daylight!
