Hot Groovy Edits 2(heavyweight vinyl 12")

Hot Groovy Edits Italy

Cat: HGE 02. Rel: 21 Jan 19
Disco/Nu Disco/Re-Edits

Side 1 - Track 1. Trying My Best Love Side 1 - Track 2. Beyond Life Side 2 - Track 1. Run Mona Side 2 - Track 2. Lick The Lollipop

Famed Bologna selector Luca Trevisi digs deep into his crates for another edit session. Four jazz funk obscurities each one primed with the spirit the Irma affiliate has pushed since his residency at the famous Kinky Club in the 80s; vibes range from the belting Al Green style falsettos of "Trying My Best Love" to the dual guitar peaks and crazed bluesy frenzy of "Run Mona" and the Booker T style organ blasts of "Lick The Lollipop". Hot and indeed groovy.
