ARTIST / TITLE LSD: THE ACID WORLD
Counselor's Guide
RECORD LABEL / NUMBER Guidance Associates
Harcourt, Brace & World
Here's a rather rare record set with a matching booklet entitled "LSD: THE ACID WORLD". This is a counselor's guide to relating the subject of recreational acid use to kids in school. Very interesting listen and awesome because of the way the subject matter is presented. This will remind anyone just how awesome the 60's were. Very entertaining at any rate... PLUS, there are two Beatles clips during playback for that 'trippy' effect. Very cool set here for either a psychedelia collector or Beatles fan.
The vinyl is in VG++ condition.
This is both a play grade as well as a visual grade. The records have been carefully cleaned on a VPI machine. Both records come in what appears to be their original sleeves, poly-lined paper. As the pictures show, there's vinyl surfaces and nice overall, there were no skips or odd audible defects from playback on my deck. I played both records' 'inaudible beep' sides since those don't have the projector 'ding' where the instructor would advance the slide (I don't have the slides to this unfortunately). I didn't play the 'audible' beep side of Record 2, the same audio exists without the beeps on the 'inaudible beep' sides. The audible beep side of Record 2 has a scratch, but again, I didn't play that side. In general, there was some light background noise and no skips; for the most part, the records sound as in the clip below - I took the sample clips direct from one of the records via my Technics direct drive TT w/ Ortofon OMP 3E cartridge.

The book is in VG+ condition.
As the pictures show, the book is in great shape. The bottom edge of the cover and several pages in the beginning have some creasing and the cover is curled a bit, but this is rather common for a softcover booklet like this. All the print inside is in great reading condition. There are 48 pages total in the book. Please check the pictures on the left for more information concerning the book's contents.
I grade conservatively and take a lot of time to properly list my records so please bid with confidence. If you have any questions, please contact me through the 'ask seller a question' link on this page.

"Goldmine Standard" grading:
SS = Still Sealed
Never opened. Any flaws (torn shrinkrwrap, creasing) will be indicated in the description.
NM- = Near Mint Minus
Has been opened, but is still flawless
with no damage whatsoever.
VG+ = Very Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the begining is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless.
- Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
The majority of records (worth selling) fall under this grade.
- Vinyl: May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, never continuously, and not more loudly than the music being listened to.
- Cover: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams. If there is abnormal damage such as tears or markings, but the seller still feels that it qualifies as a
"VG", the damage must be described in comments attached to the item.
G+ = Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have continuous crackles, pops, etc... but not so loud as to make the music completely unenjoyable for the casual listener.
- Cover: More than normal wear and tear.
