This auction is for a rare doccumentary LP entitled LSD. Just type in the catalog # into google and you can find out about the album. The cover is conservatively rated VG+ only due to some dirt that will clean off and very slight wear. Spine and gatefold cover are both solid. No split seams obviously. I'm sure I could get away with EX on this cover, but I don't want any surprises. Vinyl is EX. Capitol rainbow labels are NM. Good luck bidding on this rare piece of psychadelic history.

My grading policy for records is very simple:

Vinyl:

Mint=Sealed

Near Mint= Perfect, but open....No visible marking at all. Very few records will receive this grade.

EX= Not quite near mint, but a step above VG+. You know you got a great copy with this one.

VG+= The majority of the records I sell will fall into this category. There may be some marks on the record, but it has been well cared for and I would own this record. You can listen to this record without thinking you need to find another copy to upgrade.

VG= No major gouges, but the record needs to have some reason other than the quality of the listening experience to keep it.

Nothing less than very good will be sold.

Covers:

Mint=Sealed and perfect! Vey few covers will receive this grade, because I can almost always find a tiny fault.

Near Mint= Almost perfect..Maybe a sligt crease or mark which will be noted, but that is it...spine is perfect...no ring wear at all. May have a sticker on it that I chose not to remove. I'll leave that up to you.

EX= Not near mint, but perhaps very slight ringwear. Only flaws may be very slight corner wear.

VG+= Very good shape with slightly more serious ring wear starting to show, small unremovable markings may be present, spine still readable and overall is nice to look at. May contain a cut hole, or cut corner.

VG= Spine starting to become seriously worn and may be unreadable, Serious ringwear may be present. Overall, you will start looking for a replacement cover for this record, but it will work untill you do.

G= Good thing I like the record, because this cover needs to be thrown away...I won't sell anything in this category.

I grade as honestly as I can, and tend to underestimate the condition of all of my items. I would much rather you were pleasantly surprised than dissapointed about the condition of my items. I clean all of my records and completely dry them for 24 hours before playing them. Most of these records have never been played by me, and therefore never been cleaned by me, so a visual inspection is all I can offer. My turntable is a beautiful Dual 1215 S.

I will ship the vinyl outside of the cover. I will not clean the record before shipping...I know everyone has their own best way to clean a record. If the record has been played, then it will of course have been cleaned. Please bid with confidence.
