Early Yazoo effort. Magnificent!! Mostly very clear copies of somebody’s 78’s.
Brilliant guitar work throughout, definitive vocals, memorable lyrics. If Furry Lewis and Frank Stokes don’t make a believer out of you, then this isn’t your era of music. If you can’t wait to hear Gus Cannon’s blues banjo, start drooling.
