I decided to sell some off my personal collection. At the time of each listing, I am giving a listen to both sides (testing) and add a bit of the listening details you just can’t see in pictures. Nothing worse than putting out money and hearing a nasty skip when you get a chance to give it a spin. This is what my main focus is going to be. I’m also happy to provide more pics upon request and answer any questions. I’m not a pro, I do most research on Discogs and sometimes I still don’t understand what exact pressing or from what plant my copy is.
Only been able to find a nice playable original press that surpasses the masses, less than a handful of times. Very playable with light surface noises. Original inner sleeve has a bottom edge that is split 4”. The gate folded lenticular cover is sturdy with out question, but a few downfalls such as scratching on the lenticular cover as well as ball point pen marks by song titles, possibly favorable songs to the original owner. There are also the notorious dents associated with being next to a copy of Sticky Fingers. So there are indentations. Dinged corners and some unfortunate creases. The visual report on the vinyl is well played copy. Excessive spindle marks both sides. Some concerning scuffs and other light scratches adorn both sides. Not the prettiest but this copy plays quite well and it’s overall what you’d might expect of a go to Stones album. Lots of good mileage left to go.
