Probably the biggest phenomenon on the Italian music scene – and perhaps worldwide – is the singer MINA. Although she hasn't appeared to the public for well over 20 years, she is the absolute female superstar, an institution. Their productions always receive the highest critical acclaim, their record sales always run into the millions, and their music and interpretations are often idiosyncratic and of the highest quality. Over the course of her long career, MINA has sung songs that are now among the absolute classics of the Italian music repertoire and are fully associated with her name: MINA, bravissima!
