Description
Die Jam-/Hippie-Rocker aus Schweden sind mit ihrem mittlerweile vierten Album am Start.
"Different Realities" enthält zwei, in verschiedene Untertitel aufgeteilte Haupttracks, die "We" und "The Road To Agartha" heißen. 'Agartha' ist so etwas wie die verschollene Stadt Atlantis und soll unterhalb des Himalaya liegen.
Aus dieser Warte ist verständlich, dass Siena Root in der zweiten Großtat des Albums die indisch/orientalisch geprägte Musik ausgiebig hochleben lassen.
Tracklist We:
01:We Are Them (10:37)
02:In The Desert (3:13)
03:Over The Mountains (7:43)
04:As We Return (4:01)
The Road To Agartha:
05:Bairagi (4:05)
06:Bhairavi (3:28)
07:Ahir Bhairav (3:44)
08:Bhimpalasi (1:24)
09:Shree (2:28)
10:Jog (10:18)
Limited 180 gram vinyl issue of 4th album from Swedish quartet, housed in a deluxe gatefold 'embossed' sleeve! We get here 2 long tracks, divided into 10 pieces, whereof the first section is a classic SIENA ROOT sounding experience, recalling bands like LED ZEPPELIN and DEEP PURPLE, but with a more psychedelic edge. The 2nd part is an Indian inspired piece that are filled with stoned moments, sitars, tablas and of course electric instruments. This is perhaps the masterpiece. Sometimes very groovy, sometimes, heavy as few can do, with influences from everything from INCREDIBLE STRING BAND, FLOWER TRAVELLIN' BAND to heavier bands that still lives in the 70's classic hardrock school.
Excellent condition- Ultrarare!
