PLEASE, PLEASE ME by THE BEATLES
This original 1963 Mono LP (PMC1202) has some scratches/marks on both sides but otherwise good condition. The most significant scratch is on side 1 but it can only be felt slightly across track 3 (Anna). The letters 'K' & 'T' are embossed either side of the centre hole. My husband's initials (DH) are on the Trade Mark circle on side 2, but not too noticeable and also at the top left of the back of the glossy cover. The original inner sleeve is also in v.good condition with no splits or tears.
I am not sure of the official condition descriptions but I would say that the glossy sleeve is in good condition considering its age. The corners have some wear. There is a very small scuff mark on the front sleeve just beneath Ringo's hands and a slight crease at the top right and bottom right corners, but no splits or tears. Photo by Angus McBean. There is also a small red spot on John's forehead which looks like a printing problem as it is under the glossy finish. (See photo). The printing on the spine of the sleeve is also very good.
Matrix nos. Side 1 XEX 422 – 1N; Side 2 XEX 421 – 1N & LP (with inner sleeve) weighs approx. 190 grms.
The record has not been played for at least 30 years as we no longer have a record player.
