Description
This is the 1961 First Press with A/B matrices and RVG etched as described on discogs. HOWEVER, THERE IS A FEELABLE SCRATCH THIRD TRACK ON SIDE A, TRANE'S SLO BLUES, THAT I BELIEVE COULD RENDER THAT CUT UNPLAYABLE. Without that scratch, I would grade the vinyl as VG+ to VG++, with a few other light scratches amid clean vinyl. I HAVE PRICED THE LP REASONABLY CONSIDERING THE RARENESS/DESIRABILITY OF THIS COLTRANE LP BUT HAVING THIS POSSIBLY UNPLAYABLE CUT.
Jacket with moderate corner wear, light edge wear, no splits or marks, light soiling around white areas of back jacket. LP stored in presumably original rice paper inner sleeve, with is damaged fully split on one side, so I replaced it with a plain white inner sleeve.
